My husband and I booked an 8-day customized trip to Poon Hill and Annapurna Basecamp and words cannot express how wonderful the entire experience was. Our guide, Garap, was the most attentive, friendly and caring person I have ever met. From day 1, he ensured all of our needs were met and made us feel safe and comfortable as we started our ascend to the Annapurna basecamp. He always booked the best tea houses with wonderful views and friendly staff; he adjusted our itinerary as needed and even managed to get us our own room at ABC, which is no small feat, considered how crowded the basecamp gets. The views throughout the trek were breathtaking and culminated in the most memorable way as we reached the camp. The hike from MBC to ABC is absolutely stunning. I cannot recommend Wilderness Excursions enough; if you book with them, I highly suggest you request Garap as your guide. He will make your trek an unforgettable experience.
