Singu Chuli also known as fluted Peak climbing is an exceptionally outstanding trekking peak expedition in Annapurna localted north of Mount Gangapurna. Singu Chuli is one of the highest trekking peaks in the Nepal Himalaya; it can be climbed by amateur mountaineer with basic climbing experience. Still, Wilderness Excursion suggests that Singu Chuli expedition participants need to be trained as this is physically challenging peak climbing trip in Annapurna region. Basic knowledge of technical climbing skills is required on summit day, such as walking with crampons, zoomers, figure of eight to rappel down so it is preferable that you have used these previously.
We follow legendary Annapurna Base Camp trail route via famous Ghorepani Poon Hill trek that allows participants to get physically acclimatized and tackles good physical fitness. From Chhumrung the trail goes up to Modi Khola (River) valley, our itinerary passes through many beautiful Gurung and Magar villages above the Modi upstream. You will be amused greatly by cultural and natural sites while approaching the Singu Chuli climb. Encounter with many regular Annapurna Base Camp trekkers sharing warm cozy dinning with them until Machhapuchare Base camp and acclimatization hike to famous Annapurna Base Camp is an exceptional part of the trip. Despite all these six days set aside for the summit Singuchuli including climbing with full support of crew members in tented camp. Leading to the Singu Chuli expedition through narrow gully being the most challenging portion of the trip. Climbing the much stiffer proposition below the Summit is some technical difficulties on this climb; however the views from the top are beyond belief and make all the tough effort worthwhile.
