This short Trek to Everest region is an easy and small sojourn trip; modified for those visitors who wish to view Mount Everest within short time. Upon arriving, you will have a sightseeing day to explore the exotic city of Kathmandu before flying into the remote mountain town of Lukla where we begin our teahouse Everest View trek into the Khumbu region, land of Sherpas. Situated at an elevation of 2800 meter, the views of the Himalayan Mountains from Lukla on a clear day are awe-inspiring. Once there, we follow the legendary Everest Base Camp Trek route that journeys through Sherpa villages, across high mountain passes, and through remote valleys. En route we pass through so many Buddhist Prayers Walls, Manis, Chortens, Stupas, Buddhist monasteries and begin to appreciate the unique mountain culture found in the Himalayan foothills. The views become more brilliant as we venture up the Dudh Kosi River to Namche Bazaar - the min gateway to the Everest region treks at 3400 meter. We spend a night next to the Thyangboche monastery (3870m), from where you will observe spectacular views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kangtega, Kwande Peak and many other small peaks.
If your time allows you; we can drive to Chitwan to enjoy wildlife in the Chitwan National Park after the completion of trek, Chitwan National Park is one of the finest wildlife reserves in Asia, located in the plains of Nepal ‘Terai’. The park with a total area of 932km is listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site. It’s the home to many animals, birds and plant species that includes one horn rhino, different kinds of deer, sloth bears, leopards, tigers, crocodiles, monkeys as well as many different species of butterflies, insects and over 450 sorts of colorful & endangered birds , and an incredible variety of other fauna and flora. A visit to Chitwan is must for any wildlife affectionate and even for the leisurely travelers who wish to relax in the tranquility of sub-tropical jungle and observe wildlife or the local culture, tradition and way of life in Terai. Everest view trek itinerary will be 5-7 days depending on your level of physical fitness and the time you have. Our original version itinerary has no extra day at Namche while trekking up but you need it if you are beginner. On that day we will trek to Everest View Hotel and retrace back to Namche after the beautiful day hike that will require one more day in standard itinerary.

Itinerary
This is our standard itinerary. It can be customized or slightly changed if required considering your pace and trekking habit that cause to change of day to day plan
Day 01: Fly to Lukla and hike to Phakding/ 2610m, about 3 hours.
We fly on a twin-engine Otter to the Himalayan foothills where we begin our trek into the Khumbu region. The sights from the plane are amazing, providing dramatic views of terraced hills and the distant Himalayan giants. After landing in the village of Lukla (2800m), we meet the rest of our staff and porters and trek for about three hours to Phakding.
Day 02: Trek to Namche (3440m), 4-5 hours walk.
We continue trekking along the banks of the Dudh Kosi, crossing this majestic river many times on exciting suspension bridges laden with prayer flags. After entering Sagarmatha National Park, the trail climbs steeply with breathtaking views to Namche Bazaar, the gateway to the Khumbu region. Tonight, we stay in Hotel Namche.
Day 03: Trek to Tengboche (3870m), Hiking Time: 5-6 hours
The trek continues along the rushing glacial waters of the Dudh Kosi with magnificent views of the mountains. We spend the night next to the Tengboche monastery, the spiritual center of the Khumbu region. Inside the monastery are incredibly ornate wall hangings, a 20-foot sculpture of Buddha, and the musical instruments and robes of the Lamas. The monastery opens at 4pm every day, we will see the Lama perform a ceremony and hear the mystical chanting and music.
Day 04: Trek back to Namche (3440m); Hiking Time: 4-5 hours.
Today we trek back along the Dudh Kosi River through a magnificent rhododendron forest and past brilliant waterfalls. Shortly before reaching Namche, the trek takes us through a pine forest, where musk deer often graze in the early morning. Arriving in town, we may see lowland porters, highland Sherpas.
Day 05: Trek to Lukla (2800m), 7-8 hours walk.
This is another long day and can be one of the hardest as your body is tired after the trek. You start the day going back down Namche Hill and then the long stretch back to Lukla. You will pass Phakding before starting the last uphill section into Lukla where we will sleep for one more night. Today’s trek can take 7 to 8 hours. 21km/ 13 miles. Overnight in Lukla in lodge.
Day 06: Fly back to Kathmandu.
After hot breakfast at Lukla fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla at around 8:30am. It is a picturesque flight of 35 minutes. If the weather is clear, the morning flight back to Kathmandu will be a scenic and smooth farewell to the mountains. We visit Pashupatinath temples; the most famous and Hindu sacred site in Kathmandu and we visit Boudhanath Stupa; the place of peace and salvation. Overnight in Kathmandu Guest House.

Additional Days
We always recommend our clients to allow at least 1 or 2 days while trekking in Himalaya Nepal considering some fact that the cause change of itinerary. One of most influencing factor that alters Everest trek plan is Lukla flight delay. So please allow some buffer days just in case.
Accommodation
Our package cost includes normal trekking lodges and meals during the trek. Staying in luxury accommodations eg Yati Mountain Homes and having meals in such lodges are extra and bear by clients themselves.
