Follow the Ghandruk to Tadapani trail first part, then turn right to Dobato from Tadapani which leads you to Muldai, also spelled Mulde View Point, which is said to be far better than Poon Hill. 5 Days Muldai View Point Trek Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Drive from Pokhara to Phedi, then trek to Landruk (1,500m)
- Pick up by our guide from the accommodation in Pokhara at 7:30 AM after a well-cooked breakfast.
- Drive (50 minutes to 1 hour): A short scenic drive from Pokhara to Phedi (the trek starting point).
- Trek (4–5 hours): Ascend through terraced fields and traditional villages to Landruk, a charming Gurung village with views of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli.
- Highlights: Traditional culture, lush landscapes, and a gentle introduction to trekking.
Day 2: Trek to Upper Ghandruk or Bhaisi Kharka (2,300m)
- Trek (5–6 hours): A steady climb through rhododendron forests and past waterfalls to Upper Ghandruk (a quieter alternative to Ghandruk village) or Bhaisi Kharka (a grazing pasture area).
- Highlights: Stunning views of Machapuchare (Fishtail) and Annapurna ranges, with fewer crowds than the main Ghandruk route.
Day 3: Trek to Dobato (3,426m): 5 to 6 hours.
- Trek (6–7 hours): A challenging ascent through dense forests and alpine terrain to Dobato, a high-altitude vantage point.
- Highlights: Panoramic views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Machapuchare; serene wilderness.
Day 4: Hike to Mulde View Point (3,640m) → Trek to Nage Thanti
- Morning: Early hike to Mulde View Point for sunrise over the Himalayas (one of the best viewpoints in the region!).
- Trek (5–6 hours): Descend to Nage Thanti, a small settlement with cozy teahouses.
- Highlights: Breathtaking 360-degree mountain vistas, possible wildlife sightings (like pheasants or monkeys).
Day 5: Trek to Hile → Drive Back to Pokhara
- Trek ( Approx. 4 hours): Descend to Hile, passing through villages and forests.
- Drive (3 to 4 hours): Return to Pokhara via Nayapul or direct road.
- Highlights: Relaxing finale with time to celebrate in Pokhara (lakeside dinner, spa, or boating).
- A registered experienced Muldai View Point Trek guide.
- One cycle of meals per day ( 4 breakfast, 5 lunch and 4 dinner).
- Transfers to Nayapul by car/cab and local bus/jeep to Pokhara after trek.
- Accommodation teahouse during the trek on twin shared basis.
