Our guide from Wilderness Excursion will pick you up from your accommodation in Pokhara at 7:00 AM and then escort you to the public bus station by car or cab and take a shared public jeep to Jhinu, a beautiful place in the Annapurna foothills from where you will start the trek today. We trek to Sinuwa via Chhomrong village.
Trek from Banuwa to Himalaya at the altitude of 2900 masl. The trail goes up to Sinuwa; which has good view of mount Machhapuchhre (6993m). Then the trail enters in the lush green forest of rhododendron, bamboo, oak trees. Soon we reach at the place called "Bamboo" for a tea break. We follow the valley of Modi Khola trekking to Himalaya today via Dovan for lunch.
From Himalaya; we head upward to Deurali via Hinco Cave. The view becomes brilliant just after passing Deurali. The alpine flower are so amazing if you are trekking in August and early September. After walking some 6 hours takes us at the beautiful place of Machhapuchhre Base Camp.
Early in the morning; we make a excursion in lifetime experience to Annapurna Base camp at the altitude of 4130 meter above sea level. Enjoy the majestic view of giant peaks and feel yourself at the "Heart of Himalaya". We enjoy the hot tea/coffee break here with viewing the sun touching the mighty Annapurna Himalaya and the retrace back to hotel at Machhapuchhre Base camp and trek back to Bamboo for overnight stay.
Today; it is also a long day. We trek same way back to Chhomrung and then descend down to Jhinu Danda where a cross long hanging bridge; and short trek to markyu and catch a local shared jeep to Pokhara. Our guide will transfer you to accommodation. The trip ends. Farewell friend!
