Mohare Danda Trek with Khopra Ridge via Nepal’s first internet village, Mahabir Poon’s Nagi village, is a newly designed community-based trekking route in Annapurna Region. The Mohare Danda and Khopra Trek route goes through charming hamlets, high passes and rugged landscapes. It offers some of the best views of mountain peaks in the Annapurna range. The region is also rich in terms of the unique culture, tradition and lifestyle of the people. The trail trek begins from Galwshwar of Parbat and passes Nagi, Narchang and Tatopani before ending at Beni of Myagdi. It is a community-based trekking trail that has been developed as per the eco-friendly concept. The trekking route distance is approximately 60 km. It is a specially dense forest-covered route with sunrise and sunset from Mahare Danda, sun set from Nagi and Khopra Danda, and panoramic Himalayan view from complete routes. The main Himalaya peaks are Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Brahashikhari, Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri I, II, III, IV and Gurja Himal. Wireless internet facilities is available in the villages and Khopra hill station.
