Lobuche East Peak is located near the Khumbu Glacier and has two main peaks, Lobuche East (6119m) and Lobuche West at 6,145 meters, Lobuche West is 26 meters higher and more technical expedition than the Lobuche East Peak. Although the Lobuche East climb is a bit more challenging than the Island Peak climb, it is equally rewarding. From the peak, you get amazing views of Everest alongside Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and Pumori. The 2-day Lobuche East Peak Climbing with Everest Base Camp Trek combines Lobuche East Peak climbing with the classic Everest Trek. The trip will also take you to some of the most popular places in the Everest region like Kala Pathar, which provides an excellent view of Everest along with other high mountains.
When is the best time to climb Lobuche Peak?

However several other reasons including weather conditions in the area, your preferences and abilities, and the availability of support services such as guides can play a role in making the trip successful. Traditionally, the climbing season for Lobuche Peak Climbing starts in September, continues until the first week of December, and lasts from March to May. These months offer the best combination of good weather and stable conditions on the mountain. Climbing in summer has less chance of summit. Hiking to Kala Patthar and Base Camp keeps you adapted to altitude and you are acclimatized which helps you tackle thin air for climbing Lobuche Peak.
