Trip Overview
Dawa Dangpo Tsechu Festival, held in Briddhim, is one of the most attractive Buddhist festivals celebrated by Tamangs in the famous Langtang region. This gorgeous festival generally falls at the end of February or the beginning of March every year. The festival is celebrated after the 10 days of Gyalbo Lhosar at Bridim, which is considered one of the living museums that reflects a mix of Tamang and Tibetan culture, tradition and lifestyle.
This trip can be combined with the popular Langtang Valley and favorite Tamang Heritage Trek and we’d love to assist you in discovering this impressive region in Nepal and experiencing this excellent trek with authentic villages that offer homestay facilities in traditional homes, great views of mountains in Tibet, Ganesh Himals and rhododendrons. Participate in large social gatherings at the annual religious festival with people of villages and enjoy holy mask dances in Briddim village of Langtang.
