Larke, also spelled Larkya, Peak climbing expedition combined with Manaslu Circuit Trek is a life-changing adventure mountain holiday in Nepal
Larke Peak Climbing - 14 Days
Larke Peak Climbing Description
Larke Peak, also spelled Larkya Peak, climbing expedition starts from Machha Khola, a 7 to 8-hour 4WD private jeep ride from Kathmandu. Larke Peak is one of the newly opened popular trekking peaks in the Mansiri Himalayan Range of the Manaslu area. We follow the Manaslu Circuit Trekking trail along the Budhi Gandaki River from Arughat. Our journey goes through mixed Hindu and Buddhist communities, people of different ethnic groups, lush green terraced rice fields, and peaceful and tranquil forests. We will see a mix of cultural and religious diversity in the lower elevation of this Larke Peak Climbing Trek. After entering Jagat, we will trek through Tibetan Buddhist-dominant communities and villages as we can see Buddhist monasteries, manis, chorten, and kanis in every village.
As the Manaslu region has remained a restricted area and due to licensed guides and special trekking permits being mandatory to trek there from its opening time to outsiders, only a few number of trekkers have accessed the region, so the region has been able to preserve its uniqueness. This trip offers naturally astonishing scenery, Himalayan culture, and a view of Mt. Manaslu (8163m) so that every trekker can have the maximum satisfaction of nature's paradise. Brahman, Gurung, and Tibetan-like people of higher elevation with diverse culture and tradition make the journey fascinating and ever memorable.
From Larke Peak's top, you can see an amazing view of the Himalayan Giants and a tremendous feeling of happiness that can't be described in words. Regarding the difficulties, Larkya Peak climbing is moderate and requires full equipment and techniques with a professional climbing guide. This interesting and exotic Larke Peak with Manaslu Circuit Trek has been open for travelers since 1991, and it provides spectacular beauty along the border of Nepal and Tibet. Organized trekking in groups and special permits are required to get entry into this region. So it still has its natural virgin area belonging to cultural diversities and natural sceneries with high-altitude attractive glacier lakes and fascinating flora and fauna, which are all valuable natural assets of this region.
