It is so popular but still not that technical and less difficult in comparison to other trekking peaks in Nepal. Yala Peak is a small mountain in the Langtang area of Nepal. It is considered a trekking peak by the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) and is a somewhat simple, non-technical climb. The summit is so well liked for being a superb vantage point from which Shishapangma (8013 m), the highest mountain wholly in Tibet and the lowest of the 14 eight-thousanders, can be seen.

What is the price of the Yala Peak climbing, and is any permit required?

Yala Peak Climbing doesn’t require any climbing permits, though it used to be permitted only with permits. Now, the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) has taken it off the list as it is only 5500 meters. It needs only a Langtang National Park entrance permit that costs NPR 3000 per person, and a group TIMS Card is a must, which costs NPR 2000 (USD 20) per head only be obtained through a registered trekking company. How long does it take to climb Yala Peak?

This is probably the shortest and easiest peak-climbing expedition in Nepal. Our standard itinerary is designed for 10 days with one extra day for acclimatization at Kyanjin Gompa, which can be utilized by taking an excursion to Tsergo Ri or Kyanjin Ri, the lower day hiking peak. Our sensibly designed 10-day itinerary is made for relaxing and comfortable trekking for reasonably fit and experienced trekkers. The itinerary varies depending on your fitness level and the time you want to spend, or combine this trek with another side trek in the area.
